Privacy Policy

At Baywest Management Corporation we are committed to protecting personal information. We will only collect information that is reasonably required to manage our clients and we will only use the information for its disclosed purpose. We will not disclose our client's personal information and we will destroy personal information after it has served its intended purpose.

We collect personal information to satisfy the legal requirements of the Strata Property Act, to identify and communicate with you, to process payments, to respond to emergences, and to ensure the orderly management of your property. Personal information will only be collected, used and disclosed with the knowledge and consent of the individuals to which the information pertains, except where inappropriate.

We will do our best to ensure that personal information is accurate and up to date. We are committed to the security of our clients' personal information. From a fully secured computer system to limiting access to the private areas of our offices to adhering to a clean desk policy, we have sound management practices in place to protect personal information. Our privacy policy is based on an internal review of our practices and procedures to ensure the maximum protection of personal information according to the sensitivity of that information. Our staff has been educated on the requirements of the Personal Information Protection Act.

Individuals may request access to their personal information and the ways in which that information has been used and disclosed. Requests for information must be in writing and be sufficiently detailed such that we may properly respond. We will require photo identification in order to verify the individual making the request. When providing information, we will edit certain information as required or authorized by law, including the personal information of other individuals and information that is subject to an investigation. Individuals are invited to challenge the accuracy and completeness of their personal information and may amend such information as appropriate. We will charge $50 per hour plus G.S.T. to fulfill all requests.
